WHAT IF JESUS COMES TONIGHT?  WILL YOU BE READY?

"For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live selfcontrolled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope: the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for Himself people that are His very own, eager to do what is good”. . . The Lord may return today...
What does that do to your heart?
Does it strike the deepest darkest fear?
Or does joy from there impart?

The Lord may return today...
How will He find me, I wonder?
Will He find me ever faithful and true?
Or will He find me lost, in a deep slumber?

The Lord may return today...
Such blessings in store for some!
Yes, the Lord may return today;
Even so, Lord Jesus, come!


BE READY

Christ Jesus is coming!
He is coming again!
I am ready!
Are you ready?
Be ready for Him!

Is your garment spotless?
Whiter than snow?
Or is it stained with sin?
And you think it won't show?

What will He say to a deceitful heart?
He won't say, “Enter”--
He will say, “Depart”!

Search me, O God! should be our cry!
Let Holiness reign; let sin and self die!
Seek for His Kingdom and His Righteousness;
Seek for Himself then we'll surely be blessed!

Allow the Holy Spirit to reign in our hearts;
Submit and yield to His control;
He will never depart.

Yes! Christ Jesus is coming!
Again, I must say, He is coming!
He is coming! And it may be today!
He is coming! Praise God!
He is coming again!
Let's all be ready, dear souls, for Him!
